Moderate Acne Regimen

This 29-year-old Fitzpatrick Type 5 female presented with a 16-year history of moderate to severe acne. Past history included a 5-month course of Accutane 4 years earlier and multiple courses of oral antibiotics. On exam patient had oily skin, hyperpigmentation at previous outbreak areas and 8 erythema torus papules. She was started on Salicylic Face & Body Wash, Glycolic Gel, and Clarifying Moisturizer twice daily and Pro-G 70 peels were performed every 2 weeks.

The after photo was taken after 12 weeks and 6 peels.

Noted improvements:

• Lessened breakouts
• Lessening of surface oils
• Fading in post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
