Why do patients need a post-procedure kit?
After a procedure, the fundamental steps of skin care are more necessary than ever: cleanse, treat, and protect.
The Post Procedure System combines effective products into a convenient regimen suitable for all skin types:
Cleanse with 30 mL Chamomile Facial Cleanser, a sulfate-free, gentle, hydrating wash that removes debris and surface impurities while soothing discomfort with chamomile, ginger, and peptides.
Treat with 15 mL Vita Soothe, a silky replenishing serum with moisturizing glycolipids and nutritious fatty acids and vitamins to facilitate recovery, along with powerful antioxidants to protect healing skin.
Protect with 15 mL Radiant Shield SPF 40, an antioxidant-enriched anti-aging moisturizer that provides comprehensive protection against UV, visible, and IR light and environmental pollution while hydrating, supporting skin barrier repair, and brightening.
Each of these products is deeply hydrating, protective, gentle, safe, and consistent for a smooth healing process.
What procedures is this system good for?
Is this kit good for patients after a HydraFacial? How about injectables? What about microneedling or microchanneling?
The short answer is, yes – all of the above! This kit is great after all procedures.
Even for less-invasive procedures like fillers and Botox, your patients should bring home an approved set of safe and soothing products like these to help ease discomfort and protect against environmental aggressors during the healing process.
How to offer Post Procedure System to your patients
Patients will be both excited and relieved to hear your recommendation for a set of trusted products that will protect and enhance their procedure results. They are likely to purchase your suggested post-procedure solution, so it’s best to have your own private label kit available for purchase. Alternatively, you could include the cost of the kit in your procedure fee to avoid the upsell altogether.
As with all CosMedical products, we recommend letting patients experience the regimen first by using these formulas in the treatment room, introducing them to products they may not already carry. Before their procedure, cleanse away pollution particles up to 30 times smaller than their pores using Chamomile Facial Cleanser. After the procedure is finished, apply Vita Soothe replenishing serum and Radiant Shield for nutrition, hydration, and comprehensive environmental protection.
While applying, explain how these products will help protect and nourish your patient’s skin for a smoother healing process, and recommend patients bring them home for continued twice-daily use for at least 7 days — the sunscreen to be used in the morning only.
